Pardeo Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using Pardeo (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced herein. If you disagree, please refrain from using the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use Pardeo.
2. About the Service
Pardeo is an AI‑powered parenting companion operated by Gustavo Bramao as a sole‑proprietor test project. The Service provides research‑based guidance and tips, but it is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or emergency advice.
3. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing
- Subscription – Premium access requires an active paid subscription. Prices and renewal terms are shown at checkout.
- Free trial – If offered, trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Cancellation – Cancel anytime via your dashboard; access remains until the end of the paid period.
- Payment processor – Payments are securely handled by Stripe; Pardeo never stores full card numbers.
4. Intellectual Property
All software, prompts, and content are owned by us or our licensors (including OpenAI). We grant you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence for personal, non‑commercial use. Reverse‑engineering or commercial resale is prohibited.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to violate laws, infringe rights, upload harmful content, disrupt the Service, or resell access. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
6. Disclaimer
Pardeo strives for accuracy but provides information “as‑is.” We make no warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. Always consult qualified professionals regarding a child’s health or safety.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of €100 or the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Privacy & Cookies
Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to our use of cookies (strictly necessary, analytics, and advertising).
9. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent on‑site notice. Continued use implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Lisbon.
